Who is eligible to attend? Any middle or high school student.
When is the deadline to register? The deadline will be announced when registration is open.
What is the cost to participants? It is free for participants. The cost is being covered by our partners.
Can I participate as a single person or will I be working with a team? You may participate as an individual or as part of a team. To start off, all team members must register as an individual.
Can the idea be a product or service? You choose. Your project may be turning an idea into a product or service.
What if I don't have an idea, but I would like to learn? No, problem. The facilitators and mentors will be able to help you identify something.
What if I cannot make it to a session? While it is highly recommended that you are present at all sessions, should you need to miss a session, the session will be recorded and posted online for your reference. It is recommended that you miss no more than two sessions. Additionally, you may contact the facilitators to catch up or if you have questions.
What's next...after this challenge? For those completing this challenge, two additional opportunities will be available SY2022-2023 - exact dates to be determined. One opportunity would provide students a chance to present and receive feedback from other students and mentors on their service or business idea; including one-on-one time with a mentor. The second opportunity could lead to partnerships with business and community leaders.
